Wigan Athletic

Widely held to be strong favourites to take the cup. Pundits are however advising caution.

STOKE CITY

STOKE City assistant boss Dave Kemp says the FA's decision to overturn Rory Delap's red card is a victory for common sense.

City were stunned when the midfielder was sent off for his 17th-minute sliding challenge on Crawley right-back David Hunt in Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie.

Didn't see that coming, thought his foot was in the "Do Him" shape rather that the "attempt for the ball" shape and he went over the top of the ball during the slide. Now it turns out he broke the lad's foot too. Stoke and their horrid tactics achieved a great victory there. While I'm here Shawcross should have 3 reds a game for being one of the slyest and dirtiest defenders I've seen, and not like violent stuff, just snide shirt pulling and holding on every cross and through-ball.

See, See, See what happens.

Sunderland draw us in the Cup quarters, and suddenly their bottle goes. Whapped by Brom 4 - 0 .

Ouch.
