FA Cup Replays

It would be good to see a couple of Premier league managers who've managed in the lower leagues to come out and speak up against it, not that I can see it happening. Failing that all EFL clubs sticking together and thrrsten to boycott the competition.
We fans need to boycott it. Just don't buy tickets, turn off our tellies. watch the snooker or celebrity bake off.

Really, we should do the same with their 40 team world cup and revamped European competitions.

But we probably won't.

The only problem is that I do not think they'll be overly bothered about the tickets part. The tellies, yes, but they still have the foreign markets.

The third round of the FA Cup should be, in my humble opinion, absolutely cherished. It is (sadly, now perhaps... was) the week I looked forward to most.

Now, they stretch it over five or six days, with the most bizarre times you can ever imagine, with most not on the TV. Why? Because of foreign betting markets.

The FA Cup is in the hands of the PL, foreign TV markets and betting companies. The humble fan, who turns up or watches on TV, mean little to them.

It just feels like there's a constant attack on every tradition English football has these days. You think you've seen off one attack by the big 6 on something like games abroad or the Super League but then they're back at it. How they've been allowed to believe they own the game is a disgrace and it feels like no one will ever say no to them. A lot of blame has to go to entitled scum like Klopp and Guardiola though for coming to a country with well established traditions that no one really wanted changed and moaning and bitching until they get their way because the sycophantic media are in love with every word they say. You have better squads than anyone, top class academies, amazing training grounds etc and you still cry about playing too much football? Did they say a word about the expanded Champions League with two extra group matches plus a new knockout round they go in if they make a mess of the groups? It's always the cup that gets their grief.

JUST DITCH SKY.

Been saying it for years - everything bad about football cones from money, it breeds greed and disparity of wealth. Ditching tv football and subscriptions is the ONLY message they'll understand. IF YOU USE SKY ITS YOUR EARNINGS, YOUR MONEY THAT CAUSES THESE PROBLEMS. YOU are part of the problem.

Ditch sky, go watch a local team, even a village or pub team for your fix. Let the family watch something else on the telly.

No tv? Football on Saturdays snd Wednesdays thanks.

Too many games Guardiola/Klopp? Lose a few then - or wear your players out - or use some of your lesser squad ... nake a decision that befits your salaey like everyone else has to.

Didn't the tv companies adjust their payments for the year of the pandemic? I'm pretty sure empty or half empty stadiums would damage their product.

This is it. The tv companies pay these obscene amounts so that they can dictate the football calendar. The clubs are happy to receive the money but then complain about too many games.
UEFA, FIFA, The Premier League, the FA and every other governing body is now just another money making scheme (more like crime syndicates tbh).
Their greed has made them blind and they'll end up killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

The trouble is for non league teams the money for getting through a couple of rounds can sort them out for a season.

I watch a lot of golf and rugby, I have NOW here in Ireland. This includes both Sky and TNT, with the added bonus of Premier Sports. Am I part of the problem because Sky Sports show other sports.

I really don't like this blame game for people who like watching more than football.

Yet the premier league want to make that even more difficult by removing replays even from the early rounds when they're not even involved.
Getting a replay at the likes of Derby or Bolton is massive for a non league team. In the same way that getting a replay at Goodison, The Emirates or OT is great for Derby or Bolton in the later rounds.

It started with football and its going to ruin the other sports you like to watch.

Golf, rugby, test cricket all used to be on free to air TV. It is a blame, because in funding Sky theur viewers have not only funded ruining the sporting competition, msde life miserable fir travelling fans who have their game switched to a monday etc, they've robbed those sports from the majority who either can't afford Sky or choose not to fund them.
