My only concern with the draw is that Oldham's big centre forward won everything in the air against Skertel. Not many bully him and we have been seriously gash at defending crosses this season. It might actually be worth playing Duffy against this big lump.

Bet this one sells out quick, like.

I want to get to at least one cup game but I don't have a season ticket and if we keep getting clubs this close to goodison away it's looking unlikely.

Got an Oldham fan mate who - whilst conceding he played a blinder against the RS - reckons Smith is the worst forward he's ever seen whose usual role is not unlike that of the wall in a 5-a-side game. Surely, he can't be that good again? Surely Distin and Jags wouldn't he half as dreadful as Skrtl and Coates?

We have to fancy ourselves to win this one.
 
Heard a rumour that this might be switched to Friday night, live on ESPN. Just a rumour at this stage. Both Manc clubs are also at home and the GM police possibly want to stagger the three games across the three days. Oldham vs us would be the easiest to police on a Friday night.
