Extra Holiday Pay for Overtime

Never do any overtime really..... Work a 37 hour week, get 27 days holiday a year plus 12 bank holidays...... Total of 39 paid days off a year.

Decent Holiday Allowance that like, 1 day short of 8 weeks. Sometimes of course 4 weeks of that have to be taken at Xmas & during a 'shutdown' so in that instance you are only left with 7 'floating' days, that was always the case for me in a factory environment, been many a time when I'd have put in hours to take as paid leave.
I found that your holidays went a bit further in the Southern Hemisphere due to Xmas being in summer, 3 weeks off kinda covered everything really, xmas/new year... shutdown & main hol, in both NZ & Aus it was common practice for around 6 single sickies to be pulled giving you extra 'holidays' without any questions being asked.

It's not too shabby Reids..... Due to the nature of my job I usually work over Xmas and new year anyway so ....and not crowing about it...... I get paid double time fr the days I work, plus I get to the holiday at another time, it's akin to be being paid treble time I suppose. I tend to take most of June, July, August time off.
