Roberto Martinez has suggested that players could be allowed to leave the club this month.

Martinez: “The squad is still really, really large because it was a squad built for European football so we’ve got two or three bodies that haven’t able to get as much football as they needed or as they wanted.

“We’ve got the Euros around the corner so we’ve got a couple of decisions we need to make in order to benefit everyone but I wouldn’t speak about any individual names. Whenever we feel there is a situation that would benefit a player or our squad in general we’ll announce it.”

Ha my glass is usually mostly full tbh and I don't think any of them will be leaving ....yet.

When you think about it our squad is full of players that get paid for sitting on the bench. McGeady, Gibson, Hibbert, Osman and Pienaar could all leave without it making any real difference.

I think he means thining the playing staff,reducing the wage bill and weakening the squad.

Pienaar, Osman, Hibbert you can add to that for me personally.
Loads of wages off the bill for players who now do nothing for us. Have in the past, don't get me wrong.

Martinez is saying the squad is too big, and he needs to get some players out, if he then gets rid of some, but then brings players in, wouldn't that mean the squad would still be to big?
