Apologies if this has ben posted - not been on here this week and couldn't find a thread on it. Has anyone watched it this week? The most powerful and moving documentary I have watched in years. Was willing each and every one of those asylum seekers to make after the suffering they have had.
This is must watch, I recommend you get it on catch up .
Should be compulsory viewing for every UKIP Daily Mail reading bigot in the country.

It was - but that is why people need to watch it. The suffering is awful, the best part for me was they were all so likeable. putting faces, names and personalities to the word 'immigrant' hopefully changed a few people's views.

I cried from start to finish and have been thinking about those people ever since. Did you know that as Exodus airs it has revealed that since David Cameron pledged to offer unaccompanied child refugees sanctuary in the UK two months ago, not one has been brought into the country from Europe. I despair sometimes. The lack of compassion is breathtaking.

I totally agree mate, It was shocking one scene, and heart warming the next. I was so happy for the lad who made it to Epsom.

And that family who took him in and promised to look after his family till they got sorted! Amazing. Got me looking on line about doing some volunteering here in Liverpool, even making a cup of tea and helping out with a bit of English. Don't know how lucky we are as my late mum always used to say. ( finally realising!)

Saw a few clips of this on the BBC website yesterday, bout some guy trying to fly here from France. Crazy how easy it seemed from those clips to get to our borders...

Yeah, but I've only seen a few snippets, so obvs I might be missing a lot of what else went on...

I wasn't being obtuse, I haven't seen the show myself I thought your post was a nice contradiction to the rest of the posts in this thread, and assumed you'd all watched the same show.

By the way. Not all refugees have these stories...
