Everything seems to have gone too nice...

Been thinking this for a while but there seems to be a lack of an edge around the ground at games these days. I remember when the actions of one 'nasty' opposition player would whip the old lady into a frenzy and subsequently gee the team up. On Saturday everything seemed too nice, Rooney barely receives so much as a booing anymore, Fellaini was applauded despite us being 3 down. This got me thinking, where have the nasty guys gone. It was the same in the derby (probably due to the absence of Gerrard) but I feel that general atmospheres in the league in general have really suffered due to a lack of characters who can wind the opposition up.

Simple truth of the matter is maccavennie can't attend as many games as I used to due to work commitments. If I was attending the games, the atmosphere would be full of rage and anger because that's how I roll.
