Player Valuation: Free Transfer
I subscribed to FSC at $14.99 per month last season and was mostly disappointed at the number of "blacked out" games which weren't available PPV. At least two EFC games in this category. I haven't decided if I will subscribe again or not.
Most of my EFC fixes were courtesy of EFCTV... okay, waiting until 7:00 p.m (EST) on Sunday nights to view highlights was a pain, as was the tiny videos... which blurred to barely visible.
Now that EFCTV is free, as far as highlights and general club news is concerned, I cannot complain too much about quality of video output... High bandwidth streaming can't be cheap.
So... Now EFC are asking £4.99 for live streaming of matches.. I was unable to watch the Burnley game yesterday or I wouldn't be asking about EFCTV's PPV quality now.
How is it? Good enough full screen on a 15" laptop say? Good enough to feed to a medium size flat screen TV (30" +) via a VGA connection?
I don't feel inclined to shell out a fiver for something that is the same quality as free video on EFCTV. I'd rather pay £9.00 a month for a mix live and recorder EPL games I think, and stick with the Sunday night highlights.
