Barkley's against Newcastle because it's absolutely class, those types of goals are so rare and when they come off they are an absolute joy to watch.

A couple of examples, folk still jizz over Owens goal against Argentina, George Weah for AC Milan - Barkley's was like putting them two goals in the washing machine and what u get is some Barkley magic.

duno if someone has mentioned this, but Ross'goal against Man city, 3-1 loss i think. he hit a first time curler from the left edge of the box. kart could do nothing.

I know plenty have mentioned it but the admission of McFaddens goal against Charlton is shocking. I seemed to remember it won goal of the season that year on Sky. Unbelievable tekkers.

Osmans header against city would be in there as well

Rooney vs Charlton away at the Valley where he kills it with the outside of his foot and lashes it in with his left
Yep that's the one for me too, I can still picture it in my mind. Rooney will no doubt set England /Manure records, but I'll always use that goal and his play for us at 16/17 ish to say he was the best young player I've ever seen but he should have achieved more with the natural talent he had.

The Bily goal against United was nicer than his Hull one.

Always loved James McFaddens one against Charlton (I think) where he fakes a volley and dinks it over the defender then cracks it into the net (in injury time)

Pretty sure McFaddens goal that day set charlton on to go down felt like it sucked out any hope charlton had left

Ting that strikes me about those goals is that we don't over celebrate. Other than Cahill's boxing the corner flag, we score, take a congratulatory handshake and jog back to the centre. Proper club.
