Everton's seismic turning points

I think the lads will do fine tomorrow. No eruptions whatsoever. A slender 2-0 win. (dream)

December 30th 1999. Bill gets hold of his trainset.

We tonked high flying Sunderland just four days before that, didn't we?

Losing 6 - 2 to Villa on 5/11/89. :(:@

You saved me posting this. Remember it well on live TV, I knew that Everton were going to be crap on that day. I'd be clinging to us being ace again until that point. Bastards.

That 5-0 win over Utd was seismic. Together with Sharpy's goal against the rs. Made people (the media) sit up and take notice of us

I think the team started believing after this too. Didn't put them out of the League Cup a couple of days before or after too?

Loving the new username. Our man on the ground in Spain. GOT's #1 poster.

Bottling it in the FA Cup Final.

Not arsed if they had a bench worth £100m, we were winning and defended for 89 minutes.

It's all been a step back since then whilst City and Spurs have blown us out of the water.

Was my other turning point. We peaked at the FA Cup Final and no mistake.

Get back down Everton, down, DOWN NOW FFS.
