Everton's second half of the season to date

Done well in the cup games no doubt. The problem is the league form and we tend to throw away points in winning position for countless time. Otherwise, we will be like Leicester.

If he wins the cup for us most fair minded matchgoing scouse supporters will have fond memories of Martinez when he leaves this summer

To be fair, it'll be a gentle pat and wave out the door, rather than the outright two-handed shove he is currently on course for

As much as I think the OP is usually hellbent on dragging the forum down into a WUM vortex, the point made is a reasonable one based on the games we have had in the second half of the season.

As valid as the many points against the boss.

I personally look more to how we actually play from game to game rather than just final score and current position, and theres still a lot of positives in that.

Ideally we win every game until end of the season, but I'd accept a continuation of the good attacking play but with us looking more solid and no more of the painful collapses. That would be fine by me even if theres a few unhappy losses in there.

Stop self-destructing!

Leicester had terrible first half and great second half of last season and in 83/4 we had terrible first half but in second half if you factored in our cup runs it was a brilliant guide to following season. Loads of mileage in this
