Heart says Baines, but I don't think he's imposing or vocal enough.

Head says Jags but then that basically means "bye bye Johnny".

So I'm going to say Distin. A model pro, very experienced, respected and loved by his team... yeah. Distin.
 

Fellaini? Who's just said this will be one of his last seasons here?

Not for me. That will make it even worse when he leaves.

'Being The Ref'
Attempting to get another user banned by posting things such as "abuse! ban him!" is totally unacceptable, and will not be tolerated on this forum. This is basically the internet equivalent of a footballer waving the imaginary yellow card at a referee, and is completely unhelpful. If you see a post that you believe is in violation of the forum's Rules and Guidelines or Terms of Service, it would be highly appreciated if you could use the "Report to Moderator" function to bring it to our attention.

Yeah I know, but I couldnt think who else really.

Baines would be the logical choice, cos I doubt hes leaving anytime soon and certainly plays like a Captain, but hes too good damn nice, Jags is the same IMO.

We need a Captain who will fight for the team with the Ref, Fellaini would be my choice.

Johnny Heitinga would be a very good choice under that criteria, but generally you don't flog your captain like an unwanted desk in a car boot sale.
