Just for a bit of fun (if possible in all of this), imagine you can choose a team of our best players to save us this season, as they were at the top of their game for us but only since 2013. It's quite hard! Been some good players and teams but who would you depend on to save us from relegation? The rules are post 2013 only so if you choose Rooney, you get the 2017 version, and same with people like Jags, Baines etc. E.g. Pienaar you get this version not the pre 2013 Pienaar. It's another way of asking- who have been our best players since 2013 anyway? I found it hard to pick a midfield with any pace - which shows one of our big issues in recent years.
