I’ve been noticing a lot of outright resentment from younger Evertonians towards older Evertonians, say those 55 and above.

The young blues mock them as thick dars prone to irrational hated of players and coming up with pathetic solutions to Everton’s problems. Wider I’ve seen a resentment towards the older Evertonians as some vote tory and ruined opportunities for these younger generations through misplaced arrogance and a dislike of certain groups of people.

I’m very much each to their own but perhaps this could be contributing towards a dangerous chasm in wider Everton support.

Where have you seen this? Any examples?

The current affairs forum...it's rife with old Tory voters harping on about glory days of Everton being great and a time when Britain ruled the world - which they think they contributed too, but actually oversaw the slow dismantling of over decades which fuels their resentment*

*I'll leave it to your imagination which I'm referring to.
