They didn't have much to bring on tbf. I remember when we lost 3-0 (to Southampton I think?) and Roberto didn't make one change the entire match
It was just a really strange match.

I said to my Dad walking to the ground that this would be a really hard game, because it was effectively their European hopes on the line; In the end it felt like a friendly.

I am glad someone else thought that :)

At one point in the second half I was half hoping they would score in order to liven our lot up

And when Ronald brought Gana on for Mirallas I was in full Dutch Moyes rant :pint2:

Just watched the highlights again, what lovely football that preceded the 3rd goal involving Morgan, Gana, Mori and Barkley with the assist for Rom. The standard of football for that goal, a fitting tribute to the 'Golden Vision'

This is a statement game. Biff these and we're sitting just below the top clubs looking to push on next season. Lose and we are just one of the Broms of this world, an inconsequential nobody making up the numbers.
Statement made convincingly. Top 6 seems a big ask but we're looking at Europa League and a chance to upset Sky and the (now) other money clubs
