Can’t remember ever being so unenthusiastic about a football season.

I’ve enjoyed the Euros and the Olympics but now have to put up with another dreadful Everton side with a low block ‘hope for a set piece’ manager, another year of awful VAR calls and the top sides being light years away from us.

The last season at Goodison deserved so much better.
