I noticed there was a few times the ball went out for a throw and the linesmen waiting for a signal from the ref who to give it to, there was even one the ref had to over rule

Atkinson is one of the worst refs in the league. There are some that are just poor refs and others who are blatantly biased. Atkinson is both.
