I actually quite like him (no doubt will hate him after the match) - has his absence from reffing in the Prem been because of his fitness? Or was that just a rumour?

Easily the best ref this hopelessly officiated league has. At least we can expect an even handed performance from him.

Despite no doubt being no Friend of Everton, Phil Dowd's performance in the upcoming EPL fixture ought to have no bearing on the outcome, with the FC Toffees surely to take home the maximum points.

Yep,I'm not all that bothered if they are crap,as long as they are even handedly crap to both teams,it all seems to have been one way with them this season.
