On to the AT&T staduim, Everton face Juventus in a match that will prove to be our hardest pre-season test yet. Hopefully we'll come through it in decent shape. The kick off for this one is early for us UK based blues, but will provide a welcome change for our US based amigos. This one's yours TXBill and JDawg.
Juventus need no introduction. Yes, the old lady of Italian football, (who wear Notts County's strip, now known for fiddling of Lester-Piggott-tax-return proportions), Juve are also known for Ian Rush once saying that playing for them was like 'being in a foreign country'. Quite.
Whatever the result, this will turn out to be a tough test for us, so let's hope we come out of it looking like a brand new Jaguar, rather than a scruffy Mk2 Mondeo with gaffer tape holding the back bumper on.
