Amsterdam

Yes, you are correct, it was amsterdam. Amsterdam is quite scary at night but Alkmaar is a lot more relaxed. It is similar to Upholland in the UK. It is not possible to skin up inside Gunnerys but you would be able to smoke it outside. There is also a coffee shop just round the corner ( 1 min away ).
They sell Guiness, Murphys, Cider and Big Breakfast at Gunnerys and 70% of the custom is English. It is a safe and lovely beer.

There was no trouble in Alkmaar when Newcastle and Sunderland played here. It is mostly at the Ajax arena in Amsterdam
