To be honest I think they deserved a draw really, we were very poor. Their fans were fantastic, never stopped singing and supporting their team the whole way through the game. I might fancy going to Cyprus for the away game, considering it's round the time of the derby I want to be well away from Merseyside when we get thrashed yet again. Anyway fair play to Apollon and their great fans.

And Thursday's Sub of the Day is Nikola Vlasic..

It's quite clear that the chuntering on the sidelines is driving the subs to outperform those still on the pitch.... "please pick me Ronny (so I can escape your miserable fizzog)"

Vlasic was probably MOTM but I noticed that he liked to hold on to the ball a bit too long at times (when surrounded by opposition players). He got away with it a bit last night but I wonder how quickly he'll learn against better opposition.
As for Koeman.............Davies was having a terrible game from the off but still wasn't subbed until 65 mins. They looked like they were tiring by then and the (little bit) of pace/invention we have (Lookman/Mirllas) should have been used. If Ronald's fallen out with Mirallas then don't waste a place on the bench!

How bad was Davies... I'm a big fan but he was truly awful.

Plenty more senior players should carry the blame too.

On the night we couldn't even get the intro music right. That just about sums us up this season. Pathetic.

Already booked Lyon and half way thro booking limassol.

What am I thinking

A RS sent me this, I just haven't got anything to come back with.
*BREAKING*

Everton FC have submitted a request to UEFA to get last nights result overturned against 10 men Cypriot minnows Apollo 13...Apparently the gas fitter who plays in midfield wasnt Corgi registered....

Vlasic was MOTM, but that says as much about how poor most of the rest of them were.
Despite his mistakes, I liked what I saw of Holgate.

...6th from bottom in the Cypriot league.

Impressive performance to hold that outfit to a draw.

To be fair to Martinez he was good in cup competitions.Martinez lost the plot in the end and he had to go.But right now were in a situation where we have all the negatives associated with the Martinez regime when it went sour, with none of the positives.Sure the current Everton side is nowhere near as good as the one Martinez had in late 2014.The problem though is that Koeman has expensively assembled this inferior Everton side. This is the squad that Koeman built.

Oh RM had to go. No question of that. A house divided against itself cant stand...and that applies to any managerial regime....

I thinking about going Limassol as well, where you flying from mate and how long you staying? It should be a good trip anyway I don't know how long it is from the resorts to the ground like.
