Everton Vina Del Mar - Chile

Hello blues.

Most of you have probably heard of Everton Vina Del Mar, but if not they're based in Chile, South America and were named after our original club here in the UK.

They've been around longer that many English clubs and some of you might have even seen them play here at Goodison in 2010 when we beat them 2-0.

Anyway, I was after an unusual present for my nephew a couple of months back and thought an Everton Vina Del Mar shirt would be a good idea. I didn't realise just how hard it would be to get hold of a decent one. Any of you that have tried will know what I mean!

Finally managed to find a contact in Chile who has properly bent over backwards to help me out and I figured if I was getting one shirt I might as well get a few and see if anyone else wanted one. My Chilean contact has managed to find probably the last small supply of the Umbro shirts anywhere in the world along with some proper nice baseball caps too.

I've stuck them on eBay - reckon they'd make decent Christmas prezzies. They're here:

Cheers... and apologies. Not trying to take advantage or be sneaky. Just thought I'd try to get the word out to some other blues. No excuses, but I didn't spot the rule - sorry.

I am genuinely a blue and live just up the road from the ground... hence me buying a shirt for my nephew. I intend to stick around on the forum too.

Yup that's the price fella.

As it says in the description, it's just about covering my costs which includes a handling fee for the bloke in Chile, shipping and import taxes.

Might seem expensive, but they're one-off purchases and very rare. Have a search and see if you can find any online. I could only find one available in a size Large and that's it... nothing else.

You're right, they're not royal blue... For me that's what I like about them. Something a bit different but still with a connection to Everton. If I wanted a royal blue shirt I suppose I'd just buy a UK Everton shirt.

They're not Everton shirts so it's difficult to compare them to a UK shirt. It's just something different that I thought some other people might be interested in maybe as an unusual gift - like I was for my nephew.

I know they won't be to everyone's taste.

I don't think so mate.

Fairly sure I've exhausted the supply in Chile now.
I can ask, but I'm not hopeful.
If there are any available I'm not sure how much they'd be and they probably wouldn't get here until the new year.
I think they might ship stuff by llama across the Andes coz it takes ages for stuff to get here (a worryingly long time - believe me!)
