Everton v West Ham
Goodison Park
5:15KO

Everton go into this game with 4 major doubts.

Andy Johnson, Tim Cahill, Manny Fernandes and Victor Anichebe are all major doubts for the West Ham game at Goodison Park tomorrow.

AJ is expected to miss the game after coming off against Fulham in the early stages last Sunday with a groin strain and it is expected that he won’t feature for the must win game against the Hammers.

Tim Cahill, who Everton have sorely missed while he has been injured, could feature but foot and hip problems could keep him out.

Manny Fernandes who has been missing since the Manchester City game with a groin problem, is likely to feature in the squad of 16 although it is doubtful whether he will feature.

Victor Anichebe adds to the ever increasing forward doubts with a hip problem but it is expected that he will feature in the 16, although Everton have only 1 fully fit striker in Yakubu at the moment.

After a shocking performance at Craven Cottage, Everton will want to get back to winning ways against Fulham in this 5:15pm kick off at Goodison Park, especially with the massive game in the Merseyside derby against rival’s Liverpool next weekend.

Everton who did a double over West Ham in December winning 2 games in 4 days against them at Upton Park, once in the league with a 2-0 victory and once in the Carling cup quarter final with a 2-1 victory, the Yak getting that last gasp winner, David Moyes is not under-estimating West Ham’s poor form lately, he said, “It's great that we are playing on the Saturday. We did well in the two games down there and we had to because they are improving.

"Last year they just avoided relegation and now they are in the top half of the Premier League. Alan Curbishley has made good progress.

"I am not underestimating West Ham one little bit. The games they had were difficult games and it could have happened to anybody. You have seen Tottenham's form and Chelsea's, and they had Liverpool too. We will take nothing for granted."
