Everton v Watford

Everton, having spent their last three games on the beach, are back at Goodison on an unfamiliar Friday night fixture.

Watch Lukaku, keep your eyes on Barkley, the pessimists, not to mention the press, would have this one down as the last time we see the pair don the royal blue in L4.

No doubt the end of season parade will throw up more questions than answers.

Watford have not been the Blues’ easiest opponents recently, with the Toffee’s still looking for a first victory over the Hornets since their return to the Premier League last term.

Despite being on the elusive 40-point mark, Watford could still be relegated in the most bizarre circumstances, but come on, a game in hand, and superior goal difference and six points separate them from seemingly doomed Hull.

Tom Cleverley is in fact still on Everton’s books, until July that is, so he’s unavailable.

Miguel Britos, Craig Cathcart and Ben Watson are doubtful.

Roberto Pereyra, Younes Kaboul and Mauro Zarate are definitely out for the visitors.

Ones to watch -

Yeah, me neither.

Just look for someone waiting for their first goal in a yellow jersey or even a player who is enduring a goal drought like no other, revert back to December.

Stefano Okaka hadn’t put the ball in the back of the net in the Premier League for 6 (SIX) years.

Two that day for the Italian.

Miguel Layun, know who that is? Probably not. One appearance in the Premier League ONE goal, take a guess who that came against.

Oh yes, everyone's favourite boys in blue.

On the topic of the boys in blue, Everton’s 100% home league record in 2017 at The Grand Old Lady came to a halt two weeks ago against Chelsea and with a dismal 1-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea last week this has to be a real wake up call.

If Ronald Koeman cannot get senior pros up for matches at this stage then it's time to get the impressive Premier League 2 champions in the mix.

Morgan Schneiderlin, a huge loss in the last few weeks, should be fit to return and shore up that midfield.

Other than that it’s much the same squad wise from that disappointment in Wales.

No result could displace Everton from that seventh spot so that Europa League spot is all ours, but a win would be a nice way to end our 2016/17 Goodison Park season.

Up The Toffees.

Heading down for this one - looking forward to it.

Can only afford one trip a year so it would be cool if Everton could, you know, not do an Everton please.

Match moving to a friday night saved us a bunch of money though, compared to how much it would have been for the original Saturday.

Hoping for a Lukaku brace, a Davies overhead kick from 30 yards out and for Besic to return and smash home the final goal.

Why even risk putting Schienderlien out there? A long ass season is just around the corner. Just play Barry.

Rom to score in the 88th minute and lift his shirt to reveal - 'thanks for the memories' and then sign a new contract in august.

I want Barry in his final match for us (probably around 2027 or something) to get immediately subbed after a ceremonial 88th min yellow card and lift his shirt to reveal "thanks for the memories"

Think our players will turn up for this game with it been last home, though i think watford might score which is something they havent done away in 5 games since they beat arsenal in Jan,i will go for 3-1 Everton

I was confident we'd lose to Swansea.
I'm confident we'll beat Watford

3-1

PS it would be good to finish the season in the 60s (points). Important then that we get there in this game, because I don't think we'll get any joy at Emirates.
