Hi!
New poster here.
I know it's a long shot, but has anyone got the match-day teams from the above match to hand? It was my first away game with my dear old Dad, and the game was abandoned at half time due to snow. We didn't have a car and I remember the train trip back into Lime Street as if it was yesterday.
I do remember that Georgie Wood was in goal for us and Peter Reid was playing for Bolton, but any accurate update on the teams, or just the Blues, would be most grateful.

Cheers in advance!

ooph that's a long shot mate you're right, no doubt there's bound to be someone on here with a programme from that match

if not you could probaby find a rothmans yearbook on e-bay

I was on that game too - can't remember the teams. It was 0-0 and Reidy broke his leg if I remember correctly. (I could be going senile mind)

Reid broke his leg in that game due to a collision with Georgie Wood. Weird that you remember them two.

There's a seller on eBay selling the programme for that match for 4.99 - he's called thethreeneils222

It was also my first away game - went with my late uncle and cousin but was too young to remember the line up.

The line up in the programme that day was : Wood, Todd, Jones, Lyons, Wright, Nulty, Dobson, King, Latchford, Higgins and Telfer. The ref was Trelford Mills from Barnsley
