Now I'm not going to try and get a reputation as being a moaner, I'm really not - but my god how annoying is the OS?

Everytime you go to a new page you get the same 10 seconds of an interview with Lescott, the other day it was Steve Round.

They just can't seem to get it right can they? Every marketing decision is made by a team of monkeys who just don't know their audience.

I'm a web designer, and I know that in 1997 it was all spinning logos. fire home buttons, and flashy text flying around the screen. Well those days are gone because they annoy the user and force them to go elsewhere. Well this annoys me, anybody else feel the same?

Not saying I'm going to go elsewhere, but potential fanbase in other countries may think that. I know its probably nit picking, but its the details that Everton always seem to overlook. But its ok, because Ian Ross tells me that the marketing department is going to get an overhaul.

It was ok when it was first launched, but then it went and started embedding videos everywere.

Well me and Bruce (Adi) were talking about something a while back, I think it would be a good idea.

That IS the marketing team. Look harder and you will see the Arsenal site is done by the same content management system. Theirs looks MUCH better than Evertons imo. Goes to show, if you put monkeys at the controls you get chaos!

I prefer the Everton site to be honest, definitely once they fix the embedded videos....

I do like the idea of a scouting network. The guys who develop Football Manager rely on their fans to give them scouting reports of all players. We have many fans all over the world, free scouting?

You just have to monitor certain stats, such as shots/corner/free kicks/pens/booking/sending off

That that guy who came on here with that advert thing? Ive talked to him, still waiting for a reply, seems good but i highly doubt you will enjoy the match much


As for the advert on Everton TV its so annoying, i like the little box thing, when you can play it yourself, but the automatic play is so annoying especially the adverts...

Nah not the same guy.

I am sure they will resolve the automatic play, hopefully its not intended!!!

so friggin annoying, it should simply be paused from when you access the page and if you really want to hear lescott say what we already know, then you can click play

Yea this really annoys me mostly because im a linux user and as such cant use evertonTV on the linux operating system, but all the bloody ads still work when im browsing normally! So all the content i pay for i cant view on here, but the 10sec advert that repeats on every page works just perfectly.

Any site with automatic sound/video/music etc that you have to turn off is evil and their sites should be shut down!

yup, i was up at 3am this morning, with the speakers on, but no sound, then decided to check to Everton site, and the music blasted out...scared me half to death, and woke everyone up
