Lower top half for me.

I think we're an injury or two away from struggling against the QPR's and Norwich's.

Seventh or eighth.

I can see this season pretty much resembling last for us, only I think the gap between us and the pack we're chasing will grow.

A few senior players really need to prove their worth this season, 'cos they were passengers last time out - Arteta and Howard particularly spring to mind, they were pants last season. I hope we see more of Saha and Beckford together up front, they looked very effective the couple of times they played in tandem. Fellaini really needs to stay clear of injury, too.

Who knows though? I just want a season where we don't spend most of it top of the table on physioroom.com or whatever it's called to see what this team might be capable of.

I'm not particularly relishing this season if I'm honest.

Bottom ten; ageging squad + Moyes reluctance to start the youth [Barkeley] + Moyes enthusiasm to start the youth [Anichebe] + the dehabilitation that is a Cahill + the problems we have with the long ball counter attack in our defence + our lack of bite in midfield [Rodwell, Heitinga, Arteta] + the ineviatable injury to Saha...sorry people, with no new blood in the squad, no money, defensive tactics from the dour Moyes will see us slide into the bottom half of the table and remain there [no turbo boost last ten games for us this year] until the season ends.

When there is no money for new players in 2012, and Moyes eventually tells Bill to get stuffed, relegation will be a very real possibility at the end of next season. So yes, bottom ten it shall be...I'm sure the Kenwrong lovers will tell me I am deluded...but I'm afrad fellow Evertonian supporters, you are deluded...

Nice to see your optimistic going into the new season :-D

We are hard to beat there is no doubt about that, If we are lucky with injuries for once & actually start the season in August with the rest of the prem, turning a few draws into wins, we're looking at pushing 6th....will be happy with 7th again though!!
