Everton, the nations 2nd team

As mentioned above the more we are looked on as a team to watch the more exposure we will receive from the TV companies (has David, 16th place, James got sacked for his expert knowledge yet?)

We always seemed to be swimming against the tide with Moyes. We played some great stuff at time but were widely viewed as an organised, hard working bunch.

That's true. You cant expect to win trophies having only spent around half a billion in the last 10 years. They're at a disadvantage with 'dee oil clubs, lad'.
It's a victory for football, the team that spends the 3rd most not coming 6th-8th for the first time in 4 years.

Never minded Everton.

Can't say the same about Liverpool mind.

Remember the quality team you had in the mid 80's.

We discussed in the pub on Friday night that Everton have a set up we need to copy.

You don't seem to spend a lot but always do well.

I like your manager too, didn't mind moyes either (not as keen these days, thanks to his non stop moaning)

Wrong mate, everyone loves them because of their famous atmosphere, knowledgeable fans and because they don't spend money like Chelsea and City (but more than everyone else).

What an ill informed plonker - no European team has spent more in the last 24 years without a title (FACT) - ok your 99.9% on to win this years, but you can't play the pauper card here.

i think it's credit to martinez that we've become a team that plays attractive, fluid football. can only be expected that through this we acquire a few more 'fans' - despite the media's best efforts to sweep our achievements under the rug so to speak.
