Man Utd - we can get a result there, we played brilliantly agaisnt chelsea and portsmouth, so why not man utd?

Love our form, thats why i dont want to put a reject team out for the AZ match - whats the point of losing it?!

Yeah I know thats my point (see Alkmaar match thread) to Monty, yeah it's important to rest players but when we're winning noone wants to be dropped, ask any player, and we are playing amazing as it is. We want to keep the run going, I think players respond to this more than they make out - it gives them just as much joy reading the papers the day after a win and seeing us staying unbeaten.
It's important to keep the run going. I think we can get something off United, I think even if we play a couple of "squad players" like Gravesen, Hibbert, Nuno e.tc. we will still get a result in Alkmaar.
As long as the run remains!

i haven't felt this confident about manchester away in a long long time. COYB we almost beat them last season (home fixture i know, but still), and we're 10 times the squad we were then, have a go!

in all fairness, its almost impossible to beat them at the traffordbowl.

if its not the team or the manager, its because of what's referred to as bad ref decisions - aka bent refs.

Confidence is a good things but sometime having too much could get us caught out, and Man U could be the team that caught us out, we must stay forcus as each game comes, if we could do it we could caught them out instead of them doing to us!
 
Too true Devils, United have won 8 out of 9 games at Old Trafford, snotted Reading in the other one and conceeded only two goals so far.

We're up against it, if we do it then I will start to get excited.

mate loosen up and get caught in the wave! you know you wanna! once this boss form ends, crashing down will probably suck but till then i'm on top of the world!

also i donated blood a bit ago so i'm a little light headed, jus adds to the euphoria!:D
 
I just want to tell everyone that I seen the impending doom coming to be a smartarse.

The blood thing is admirable, you can get drunk easier - although Im sure your reasons were more noble than that. WERENT THEY?

That's how I see things, is better to try and fail than not try and fail!

We are indeed in good form, but to prove we really do have the strength & depth to win something there is nothing better to test us than beating Man Utd away!

Why? we haven't beat them in the last 6 year at there ground, not even the season when we manage to finish 4th!

I hate to say it but it's true beating team like Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea is the bench mark for any team looking to win the league, so, if we could do it this Sunday I can see we are truely going somewhere this season!
