"Everton That" moments

We are well known for being an unlucky club and a a club that's run very poorly. So what would be your most Everton moment be? A personal favourite of mine was Richard Wright getting injured at Chelsea by falling on a sign saying not to warm up in that exact place.
Richard Wright also got injured falling from his loft, on Friday 13th. Does it get more Everton lol.

Being title winners in the 1914/1915 season and having the best team in the land. Only for it be broke up due to WW1. The RS then went on to win a few league titles when the league reformed.

Building a stadium and having cash ready to be poured into the club through sponsorship. But being unable to predict a war in Ukraine (which NATO failed to predict as well) resulting in points deductions and nearly financial ruin of the club. The RS went on to win the league during the period.

Wars are bad things for all the people involved. But wars are also terrible for Everton.

That was an 'anti-Everton that' moment. It forced Moyes to play Nigel Martyn and then he finaaly realised what the rest of us had known for ages, that Wright was absolute tosh (with an added bonus that Martyn was still excellent).

Point taken. Thank god for that loft.
