Was saying earlier (the screenshots above), I didn't come up with the tune that was sang... but I did suggest the idea on Wednesday night (early hours of Thursday) and it got a lot of feedback (along with some attempts to embellish it etc.). Delighted if I even played a small part in inspiring it but absolutely could've been thought of completely independently.

Also, just to reiterate... 100% not trying to take credit for the final song (which is awesome)

The lads on z cars are in the pre match you tube clips and I think they came up with the diamond from wavertree song

Yeah they are, i go on it sometimes. A lad on it makes loads up, very funny lad.

Why we still sing its a grand old team i don't know. Fans stop half way through but yet 2mins later they start it again n i just sing it all on my own just to prove it has more words
