Afternoon gents,

I have spoken to the powers that be at GOT towers (cheers lads) and they have kindly given me permission to use this forum to get some feedback from fellow bluenoses regarding a site i have been putting together over the past 10 months

Some of you may have interacted with me on twitter (and some may have not) butt he site is basically a news aggregator (like newsnow) which brings together news, videos, tweets and instagram posts into a continuously updated news wall

You can view the Everton page here:

http://www.footyfeed.co.uk/everton

Clicking tags will also let you drill into other pages such as:

http://www.footyfeed.co.uk/ronald-koeman
http://www.footyfeed.co.uk/ross-barkley

or even

http://www.footyfeed.co.uk/bramley-moore-dock

The site tells you how long it takes to read articles and also auto tags and groups content into collections or "topics" across the top of any team page

It covers all premiership and championship sides

And soon it will also detect clickbait or spammy articles and let users filter them out - just leaving the good stuff!

It's still very much in development so just looking for feedback - good or bad - regarding the look and feel, ease of use, usefulness, what you think might be good, what you think is rubbish

And if you like it please feel free to share and / or like our facebook (www.facebook.com/footyfeed.co.uk) and twitter (www.twitter.com/footyfeed_efc)

And if you REALLY like it please consider bookmarking and using it instead of newsnow ;-)

Cheers lads and COYB!!!!

...it's basically a more aesthetic Everton News Now site. Looks good.

The tabs on the top filter specific subjects (Lukaku, Elstone etc) but without clicking on each one, how would you know if there's 'new' news on any subject? All I'm thinking is new news might be lost in a tab that a reader might not click on, or is the article duplicated in the 'all' tab.

Personal preference and not wanting to be negative but I prefer newsnow. I think the text list gives a better overview without having to scroll as much as your site.

To be fair you aren't the only person to say this so I'm gonna add a button so you can switch to a more "newsnow" like text list if you liked? The reason it defaults to how it looks now is unlike newsnow it brings in images, videos, instagram and tweets etc. Thanks for your feedback :)

Well those are actually trends - they are the most popular thing mentioned over the last 24 hours. So as you can see Bramley Moore is the number one trend atm. Followed by Elstone, Goodison Park and Big Rom. So you can be pretty sure anything in there is "new" otherwise it wouldn't be trending. Clicking those basically filters the news to just show things related to those tags. So yes the news would be in the all as well. Always working to improve the navigation and stuff though. Cheers
