Just wondering if anybody knows if there's any cheaper offers for the team kits than Everton Direct at the moment? Even with the 10% discount until Sunday, they're still quite expensive.

Am thinking of Xmas presents for the family, either the home or 3rd white kit. Another thing I'm wondering is if the kit will change again next season, as they'll only get 6-months wear out of them before the next one comes out.

Yeah unfortunatly there will be three new ones I imagine, there is too much money there for them to make, but surely if you like the shirt it doesn't matter if its a year old? I still always wear the shirt from the CL season with the collar I love it

Someone mentioned today on twitter about cheap football shirts on maxxsoccer.com Everton Shirts on there for £18. Theres one review which seems to say there alright especially at that price. Have a look.

Go retro and get a timeless classic. 1985 ECWC shirt £19.85 or the 1984 cup final shirt £25, I dare say you get a copy of the game on DVD to go with.

Buy from the club, so the club gets the cash and not a slavemaster pushing his minions to perform task after countless task while milking followers for every last penny while selling shirts not even worth the £2.50 they cost to make.

hang on....

Bill isn't selling them, nor are Everton, Kitbag and Nike are and it is they that are charging a premium for putting our badge etc on, on a shirt that for kids is £9.99 in it's plain form.

My kids are in need of new kits at the moment and I cba forking out the best part of £70 each tbh, or afford to really.

I have searched the web a little and I have read some very poor reviews about maxxsoccer.com ranging from very poor customer service, shirts not actually arriving and another review said that all they received was a letter from HM Customs and Excise stating that their shirt had been seized because it was counterfeit. Either way, £18 seems a little too good to be true in my opinion.

At the moment the club are offering a 10% discount on everything until this Sunday, this reduces kids shirts to £36 each, plus £6 for PL badges and another £12 for name/number printing. All in all, if yoyu get the whole thing, it's £54 each. So you're talking £108 for two kids just for one shirt each.

As people have said, it's a money making thing, and there's obviously families out there with more than two kids, who want more than one shirt (home and away etc). I think its a ****in cheek bringing three kits out every 12 months....

There's no cheek about it. Nobody is forcing anybody to buy the kits !

Some guy on twitter claimed he'd been told by Nike we were changing our club badge next season. If true, back to the 80s version I hope.

I should upload some pics of the fake I inadvertently bought to show people what you get because they may look good in the photos but the detail is well dodgy, the badge in particular looks like a blind person did it

Yes the kits are expensive. But I will say the quality is there. I got an away kit this year and the black kit my fav along with the cream colored kit a couple years ago. Last years home right up there. The Nike kits I think are of higher quality than the LCS As I have had issues where threads are coming undone in the stitching. While the home kit didnt wow me at first. I bought one for my wife and up close i really quite like it. Being in the states you don't always get as appreciation. You can always wait til march when they start dropping the price.
