Everton has signed Brazilian striker Jo on a season-long loan from Manchester City. The 22-year-old Jo scored five goals in 13 games after first joining the Toffees on loan in January. The new deal was agreed last weekend, but only sealed Friday. City signed Jo for 18 million pounds (then $36 million) last July from CSKA Moscow, but his future in Manchester was put in further doubt by the arrival of Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn last month.
