The Hammers had been linked with a audacious move for the Belgian winger this summer, but it now appears as though they are going to have to forget about a deal. Reports this morning suggest that Everton have been quick to knock back West Ham's attempts to sign Mirallas, and the Hammers have finally got the hint regarding the winger.
A West Ham fansite even quotes a source, saying the Toffees have shown no interest in selling on of their star men.
The source is quoted as saying: “We have kept going but it’s beginning to look less and less likely. There’s always a chance but it’s down to about 25 per cent. “We have no first hand knowledge of whether a new deal has been offered to the player but we have had no encouragement from Everton on this one at all.”
