cant wait for pre season tbh, just decent days out without worrying about the result, motherwell and dundee united are only about half hour from me so pleased i dont need to leave scotland to see them for once, going morecambe, and counting down the days for malaga, 5 days in the sun and see everton, heaven

I'll go to Jakarta.....would be handy to find out how to get tickets as I dont think I'd particularly want to stand in a queue there....would love it if there were boxes available for the friendly -- should be relatively cheap.

First-team pre-season fixtures:

Saturday 14 July: Morecambe (A), 2pm
Wednesday 18 July: Dundee United (A), 7.45pm
Saturday 21 July: Motherwell (A), TBC
Thursday 26 July: Galatasaray (N), 3pm
TBC: Indonesia XI or Malaysia XI (N), TBC
Sunday 5 August: Blackpool (A), 3pm
Wednesday 8 August: AEK Athens (H), TBC
Saturday 11 August: Malaga (A), TBC

A much stronger list of fixtures than last season imo, particularly with the Galatasaray and Malaga match ups. Will be nice to hopefully see this kid Manolas too, before we don't sign him.

Manolas is apparently about to sign for Olympiakos so it unfortunately looks like you will not get to see him play.

Don't think it's any stronger than last year, to be honest.

Every year we look at pre season and go 'oh thats stronger than last year' when it's all about the same really.

Are we not playing Celtic too ?

Our Reserves might be playing Celtic Reserves on Sunday 22nd July, if we beat Airdrie and they beat Partick Thistle the previous day. It's a mini four team tournament over that weekend, at the same time the first team plays Motherwell on the Saturday afternoon.

As someone's said, I don't believe it's anything to do with our preseason that we start poorly, Moyes will **** himself again.

Does anyone have an idea when tickets for greek game will go on sale? Or if they're going to be high in demand? I'm going to be on holiday for the next month so it might be a bit tricky getting tickets so any advice would be much appreciated!

You'll have no problem getting tickets mate.
