Everton Pre-season finalised. Your thoughts ?

First-team pre-season fixtures:

Saturday 14 July: Morecambe (A), 2pm
Wednesday 18 July: Dundee United (A), 7.45pm
Saturday 21 July: Motherwell (A), TBC
Thursday 26 July: Galatasaray (N), 3pm
TBC: Indonesia XI or Malaysia XI (N), TBC
Sunday 5 August: Blackpool (A), 3pm
Wednesday 8 August: AEK Athens (H), TBC
Saturday 11 August: Malaga (A), TBC

A much stronger list of fixtures than last season imo, particularly with the Galatasaray and Malaga match ups. Will be nice to hopefully see this kid Manolas too, before we don't sign him.

Im a lot happier, if we can get a few signing as well, i think we could have a good go this season. good testing pre-season and high morale due to new signings = good start.

Im only going to 1 game thats AEK Athens (h)

Before i used to think our pre seasons may of been a reason why we started so poorly.

But not now.

iI've said before and i'll say it again : its how Moyes lines us up and has us playing in the first half of the season which is the main problem.

However that could be total bollocks so at least its nice to have a slightly better looking pre season than normal.

Very good workout and games close together, whilst i'm not too bothered about results, if we do well against the Malaga's, Galatasaray's and even AEK then it will breed confidence, the others should be won.

Just gutted that the only one i'll be goin to will be AEK

still no ko time for malaga yet mate,think it will be like i said last week or when ever,ie 8.30 uk time as it was for that cup last year,malaga also played another freindly game last year the week earlier at the even later time of 9uk time/10 spanish,but you just never know.

Blackpool away should be fun. Might even get some moola together and go to Malaga for the weekend.

Some better quality teams than in previous years and ones who are more likely to play a Premier League style.
