I've got a few:

Was watching tv yesterday and saw the goals from league 2, Coventry were on it - not long back we were drawing with them to stay in the prem

Yesterday's game - Atalanta are actually seriously good, I hadn't realized they came 4th in the serie A, above the likes of Milan x2, fiorentina, lazio etc... Only behind Napoli, Roma and Juve in the league, and they did not lose to any of those at home in their league campaign (beating Roma + doing the double over Napoli).

It was 25 degrees and very muggy there last night, not really what our team are used to playing in, possibly explaining the slower tempo.

Not excusing like, there is still a lot wrong, e.g 3 number 10s and no pace, just looking for positives.

Yes but they also sold their best players in the summer and did not spend circa£150m

Yes but they also sold their best players in the summer and did not spend circa£150m

they sold two, but their best players weren't stand out compared to ours, also in arguably less important positions, a defender and midfielder compared to a striker.
