With Hodgson delaying the England squad announcement until Monday (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36262235), allowing for the last set of premier league matches, who do you think from our lowly bunch will make the squad for the Euros? Discuss other national teams as well, if you want. I do feel proud whenever I see one of ours playing for the country.

Dead certs:
- Barkley
- Stones

Hodgson likes them young. He's done well to incorporate young players in prep for the Euros and can't see him leaving either of these two behind. Ross has had a, well, dismal end to the season but he's got a decent amount of goals and assists. Stones is one of the best English CBs, and has done pretty good when called up and paired with Cahill.

Likely:
- Jags

Experience, mostly. Also dependant on fitness. I don't think he'd start, but he's good back-up/rotation.

Possible:
- Baines

Shadow of himself, but if Luke Shaw isn't ready for the Euros, I think Roy will take Baines because who on earth else is there?

Doubtful:
- Lennon
- Barry

Both past their prime, but Lennon still has speed and Barry experience. I don't think they'll get the nod ahead of others but they do have traits which could be of use. Imagine Vardy and Lennon on the counter, could be good.

What do you guys think? Will Barkley and Stones have starting places in the team or has our shambolic end run of games put Roy off anything Everton?

I don't think any of them have hit any sort of form to warrant international selection.

If they are selected, and play out of their skin for England after being lacklustre for Everton I'll be annoyed.
This will also confirm non of them want to play for Roberto...

As things stand.

Belgium:- Lukaku (going); Mirallas (standby list).

England:- Stones, Jagielka, Barkley (all going); Cleverley (standby list); Baines (miss out).

Ireland:- McGeady, McCarthy, Coleman (all going); Gibson (standby list).

Switzerland:- Tarashaj (going).

I said before that I wouldn't be surprised to see Hodgson leave Barkley out given his recent form.

It's obvious that Hodgson doesn't particularly fancy him, and wouldn't need much excuse to bin him off.

Announcement been moved till Monday - makes sense.

I'd say Stones, Ross and Jagielka will all go. None of the others.

Barry and Lennon are not in the race for ages. They don't even get a mention.

....yep, hard to see any of the Everton contingent starting the tournament. Barkley might force a game if he has a positive impact as sub, Stones if first choice pair have a nightmare.

Think Stones will start alongside Smalling - god help us- Barkley, Jags and Baines will go but barring injury wont start
