Alderweireld was only on loan in the same way that Sanches and Krychowiak are at Swansea and West Brom.

Mane, VVD and Bertrand would make our starting 11.

I think we have a stronger squad depth though. Yet to see what Vlasic can do, Klaassen needs to adapt, and the likes of Davies, Holgate and Lookman will continue to improve.

Southampton have had some very good players since returning to the top flight though.

That Southampton team is incredible and had they have kept it together i would fancy them for top 4.

Alderweireld and VVD are the best two centre backs in the league by some distance. Good options up top. Wanyama in midfield with the pace of Mane is a frightening side really.
