I accepted it after the Wolves game, given how poor we have been all season. To stay up we need to win nearly three times as many games as we have all season. That simply won’t happen.
As distraught as I am that we will no longer be at the top table. I suppose I’m just now thinking about playing new teams, seeing a different Everton. A team more than likely built on youth with the odd experience player thrown in. No real quality players as they will be sold.
We will also lose our record of consecutive seasons in the top flight. Think us and Arsenal have the highest. These things don’t mean much to most teams but as an Everton fan it was always something you could at least look at and know it’s a feature of your team.

Positive change as my god we need it. The summer will be horrendous. All I can say is look at Burnley. Rumours they would go under due to the loans they had and now they are playing good stuff and their fans are happy. (No I’m not comparing Everton to Burnley), just saying sometimes there can be a positive.
