Everton are planning a move to bring in Sporting Lisbon captain Joao Moutinho.
David Moyes wants to bring in the superb midfielder who is currently in the Portuguese Euro 2008 squad and performed well against Turkey at the weekend.
It is well known that Moyes wants to bring in players that will add an extra bit of class to the team and Moutinho fits the bill.
Moutinho is valued at £12 to £16 million and with Keith Wyness already mentioning that the transfer record for the Blues could be broken this summer, a player of Moutinho’s quality could be brought to Goodison Park.
Moutinho is already the captain of Sporting Lisbon at 21 and has 13 caps to his name for the Portuguese senior team.
