What happened to them. At one point we were always competing with Arsenal ladies for the league and now we are nowhere near and the red****e ladies have won the league who used to be awful ?

They've thrown a sh*t load of money at their ladies team. Finished bottom the last two years and then won it this season.

Even Arsenal have fallen away a bit. We've lost a few players though, the last couple of years.

Can't remember the specifics, but I believe franchises for the women's top flight were up for review this year. It was a case of drastically improve or potentially lose it.
