What a waste of a limited budget bringing in a guy on a free when there were no other options available.
Wow, you really are doubling down on the Rondon thing, then. He's dreadful, his signing on fee and wages (for a minimum 2 years, no less) were indeed a waste of our limited budget.

You predicted "at least" one goal for him yesterday, got any more predictions for us?

Kamara or Zakaria would be a good signing

Very hard to attract the types id want but we have to really go for it as not only do we bring in quality we also dont use transfer funds.

Id like to see us going for these players at centre back. The 2 Germans Ginter and Sule and the Italian Romagnoli.

its not going to be cheap but these are the type of players which solve any centre back issues in one go.

If we could get Ginter then we could also use him at right back, otherwise Mazraoui.

Then, of course centre mids of Kessie, Kamara and Zakaria look really ideal for us.

Additionally, Id have Belotti as rotation for DCL.

Land players like this on precontracts in January and we'll be able to focus on sales in summer and turning the squad around.

Its going to cost a lot of money in wages but aside from Rodriguez' salary we also have around £350k a week out the door end of the season so theres some room before outgoings.

Once weve sold players then we bring in a right winger and a young right back to develop.

Were never going to get everything we need so just go all out on these players on frees and hope we can bring in one, two or three of them.

Right now I would start sorting arrangement with any player who has less than a year in their deal, either sort out a new deal or tell them to find a new club January, it will save us money if they leave and them time to find a club instead of the summer.

I don't even care if they go on loan and we pay because they are deadwood and stink the place out.

Secondly, any player who the manager doesn't want or needs fitness, into the u23 and promote the youth. No more 2 keepers it's embarrassing and a lad could gain valuable experience plus it's a positive.

Thirdly, we have to spend in January but we need them in as soon as the window opens.

Not too sure Gray was Brands signing Catcher. There's There's article from Benitiez saying he's been in touch with Gray for the last couple of years, making personal calls to him to see how he's getting on etc. Apparently he was on his radar around the time he went to Leicester.

He was Brands mate. Was scouting Leverkusen for a long time, and he showed up in the data for ball carrying.

I never knew how to take that quote. Like why would a manager you've never worked for, stuck out in China, be chatting to you when you're playing in Germany? Like how random is that haha.

"Alright Demmy lad great blammo at the weekend"

I don't really get it either. Especially when we know Brands was heavily scouting Leverkusen, and Gray's numbers were off the charts for what we were looking for.

Exactly, maybe could see Iwobi with Crystal Palace or Fulham, he likes the London life. The Yam Yams would love Holgate back but no way they could afford to pay the wages he on now and could see Keane returning to Burnley in a couple of years.

Might take them on loan mate.

If your watching that defending yesterday, and noting Holgate cant get a game ahead of that, why are you paying anything?
