when i was a kid,i remember everton playing luton town in lutons orange away kit!!! does anyone know why this happened?

Yes, we either forgot our first kit or the colour clashed so we played in their away kit - defo mid eighties, 85 or 86 I reckon.

it's in the new evertonian mag (pienaar cover) it says so on the november calender page. Nov 3rd 1987. i think we forgot our away kit and had to play in their orange one. we won aswell.

it wasn't this kit. the pic in the evertonian mag had white and black triangle/lightning strikes across the middle. me mags on me desk in work and can't remember of the top of me head
