Imo we need European football regardless of if it's Europa or not. The reason why the top teams are so good is because they get used to playing 2 games a week, week in week out that breeds winning teams because they are mentally stronger and in turn know what they need to do to qualify. For us yeah great we've had one mini decent run in Europe and then got turned over. Another 14 months until the chance arises again and we are basically starting from scratch. Couldn't care less if we finished top of the biggest arseholes table if it meant another way into Europe.

With you on that mate,we need 4/5 years of Europe on the bounce as it is the last ten years we're in for a year then it seems just as we get a taste for it we are out,as for playing June time it can't damage our season more than the non pre season we had last year IMHO,I'd take it no matter how we get in.

Anyone know where we stand in the Fair Play Table for Europa Qualification next season? At least qualification would make sure we didn't have another farce of a pre-season.
