Glossop are still going, wonder if it is from the same club ? sounds more like their bitter rivals to me.

In Sheffield there are still fervent F.C. Sheffield supporters that despise the other 2.

Can't see any sign they've adjusted the points to make all wins 3 points, or to reduce all wins to 2 points. If they haven't they can get to **** statistically.

It does say "Points as awarded at the time" so it's kind of a silly table -- need to adjust them one way or the other.

I know it makes the points total less flattering, but we've played significantly more top flight games than anyone else. In fact we're the only team in the history of english football to have played over 4000!! That is awesome.

Yes and we have lost the more games in the top flight than any other - and we are the only team to have lost over 1000 away games !!!

Suppose its a glass half empty / half full thing.........

Everton have played 108 out of a maximum possible 112 seasons in the Top Flight of English Football, which beats any other club hands-down.
