i think we are top when you count from when the league was formed. EVERTON EVERTON TOP OF THE LEAGUE, EVERTON TOP OF THE LEAGUE.

I will kneecap the next poster to link to any similar table where there is no attempt to get the stats right by taking all wins up to 3 points or down to 2 points. In real terms EFC end up devalued in position when this isn't done.

But you can't airbrush history just to suit your agenda.

If three points were on offer for a win from 1946-47 to 1980-81, who knows how many teams would have played differently and gone for a win, rather than settle for a draw?
