This is a really good thread as we will all have 'thats it' moments, for me - it was selling Stones, i thought we had the spine of a side who could actually offer something, I remember Fox telling me 'stones will captain england one day', and here is winning leagues all over the place. We had Stones, Barkley and Lukaku. I'm sure there is a load more instances like this throughout the generations of supporters.

It was defo for me selling Stones, a quality centre back come once in a generation.
