Sports tv channel ESPN Classic are looking for Everton fans to be interviewed on camera for a new series called ‘Happy Endings’. Simple idea: show some classic games and get the fans to tell people why it’s an important game and giving them a good reason to watch it!
Short notice, but they’ll be in Liverpool this coming Monday evening/Tuesday morning, interviews will take about an 45 minutes and they are happy to come to wherever you are. It'll be fun and easy as you'll just be talking about Everton. The games that they want to talk about are:
Eve v West Ham 01/02
5-0 2nd half west ham own goal leads to an everton scoring spree
Derby v Eve 01/02
3-4 Everton's revival under new manager David Moyes continued in dramatic style in a thriller against relegation rivals Derby County at Pride Park
Bayern Mun v Eve - CWC SF 1985
Eve v Rapid Vienna - CWC F 1985
Eve v Watford - FA Cup F 1984
It would be good if you'd been to these games, but not essential, as long as you have a memory about what happened. If you email them on jbolman@espnclassic.com today they'll get in touch asap. If you're London based then they can come over to you later in the week.
